The gameplay is very close to the Mobile version but the physics engine seems closer to the original PC game. As of press time, Arcade mode is notably missing and Classic has only the first three maps, viz. Once inside, you start at the lobby where you can customize your character, check out the inventory, buy additional items using RP cash and toggle between game modes. Mind you, the game is still in beta and some parts may be broken or buggy. After that, the major chunk of the game will be downloaded which is another 2.5GB after which, you will be presented with the usual social sign-in page. Interested players can download the installer from PUBG Lite’s website which is about 64mb in size. For reference, the minimum requirements suggest an Intel i3, integrated graphics and 4GB of RAM. This makes it a very light game with minimal spec requirements, and should run on most PCs. PUBG Lite, which is still in Beta, brings all of the gameplay and features from PUBG PC but with the graphics of PUBG Mobile.
PUBG Lite, which is now available for download in India solves all of those issues at once. PUBG originally came as a PC game, but wasn’t free and needed a pretty high-end rig to run smoothly, along with a stable connection. But many argue that mobile gaming isn’t real gaming. It’s become a phenomenon of its own and even created a demand for gaming-centric smartphones. PUBG Mobile has been the most disruptive smartphone game in years.
